We are looking for audio and radio work of all kinds for inclusion in our next event on Wednesday, 6th December and we might be the only people in Glasgow that are genuinely excited about the dark nights creeping back in. If you’d like to contribute something please get in touch or visit the About page for more details on how to submit work. We will be at our regular venue upstairs at the Old Hairdressers.

Lights Out Listening Group is a unique listening event that takes place in almost complete darkness.

Our next free event at the Old Hairdressers will take place on Tuesday, 10th October with proceedings kicking off around 7.30pm. Anyone is welcome to come along and listen – we have a fantastic programme of sound works lined up for your listening pleasure. We hope you’ll join us to experience some of the innovative audio creations produced by talented musicians, artists and radio producers both near and far.

For the Hearsay festival in Kilfinnane, Ireland last week LOLG made an impromptu presentation of selected works from the Lights Out Listening Group archives. The event took place in the Kilfinane library as part of the ‘Chocolate Box of Aural Delights’. You can now hear the audio and read the full programme here.
