508ecm1802Lights Out Listening Group is a unique listening experience that takes place in almost complete darkness.

We are looking for audio and radio work of all kinds for inclusion in our next event on Sunday, 29th June. If you’d like to contribute something please get in touch or visit the About page for more details on how to submit work. We will be at our regular venue upstairs at the Old Hairdressers.

Deadline to be included in the programme: Tuesday, 24th June.

Opportunities:

Wave Farm and Vox Novus are looking for one-minute pieces for a special edition of 60×60 focused on Radio Art. Artists are invited to submit recorded works (created with, for, about radio and transmission) with durations of 60 seconds, to be included in the eleventh annual 60×60 project; a FM broadcast on Wave Farm’s WGXC 90.7-FM; and distributed as a Wave Farm Dispatch Series download. HearSay – an International Audio Arts Festival in Ireland are looking for creative radio submissions for the HearSay Audio Prize 2014 HearSay is a free and unique festival of sound, story, sharing & surprises taking over the mountain village of Kilfinane, Ireland for three days & nights in November 2014.
