posteridea001Lights Out Listening Group is a unique listening event that takes place in almost complete darkness.

Our next free event at the Old Hairdressers will take place on Sunday, 20th April and things will get started at around 7.30pm. Anyone is welcome to come along and listen – we have an excellent programme of sound works lined up for your listening pleasure so we hope you’ll join us to experience some of the innovative audio creations produced by talented musicians, artists and radio producers near and far.

Where: Old Hairdressers, Opposite Stereo Renfield Lane, Glasgow, G2 6PH

When: Sunday, 20th April, 7.30pm.

One of our regular contributors, Lucie Potter is to be featured on a programme on BBC Radio 4, The Digital Human: Voice, on Monday 14 April at 4.30pm. It will then be available as a podcast for a limited time here:

Also, another of our regular contributors, Nichola Scrutton, has been working with Martin O’Connor on a new theatre piece, Theology. Performances start on Monday 14th April and run until Saturday 19th (not Wed), 7.30 pm at the Pearce Institute as part of The Arches Behaviour Festival. Here’s more info with a link to tickets:
And – last but not least – Our friends in London, Do Not Feed Birds are starting a listening event similar to LOLG – so it’s another opportunity for our regular contributors to submit their work for a London audience. Details below.

A broad range of audio and radio work  will be collated from open submission and listened to in complete darkness on Tuesday 6 May, 7pm at:
